INTERNATIONELLT PROGRAM
 

Varje sommar anordnar SIEC en internationell konferens. Programmet anknyter till värdlandets utbildningssystem, näringsliv och kultur.
Dessutom anordnas föreläsningar, seminarier och gruppdiskussioner med pedagogisk inriktning vilkas innehåll bestäms av en pedagogisk kommitté med representanter för medlemsländerna.

2001 i Schweiz (Zürich). SIEC firade då sitt hundraårsjubileum

SIEC´s internationella sekretariat ger en gång per år
 ut tidskriften International Review for Business Education.

Till medlemmar publiceras SIEC Newsletter via Internet flera gånger per år.

SIEC´s internationella nätverk är till stor hjälp vid skol- och företagsbesök samt vid lärar- och elevutbyten.
Styrelsen för SIEC Sweden förmedlar kontakter.

SIEC´s medlemmar inbjuds också till andra evenemang som anordnas i samverkan med SIEC i olika länder.

SIEC International

SIEC  (http://ww.siec-isbe.org) was founded in 1901 in Zurich, and today the headquarter is located in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. The General Secretary and Editor is Ms. Judith Sutton-Olsson, USA.

Currently the following countries have national groups:

 Austria, Belgium, Czech Republik, Denmark, England, Estonia, the Faraoe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States. The addition of further national groups from Eastern Europe and the Far East as well as Africa is expected in the near future.

The President of the society is elected for two years and is eligible for reelection once.

Some of SIEC´s objectives are:

 * to develop international business education in cooperation with all international non-governmental organizations, and furthermore, to encourage communication between business educators, the business community and governments.

 * to encourage scholarly study and research in business education and in the training of educators.

 * to organize an annual international business education conference offering cultural, economic and educational aspects of the host country, as well as an exchange of views concerning the aims, methods and means of teaching business education.

 
Through an active membership in SIEC you can contribute to and also benefit from
